Four Rivers Co-op is hiring a permanent part-time casual CARDLOCK/YARD ATTENDANT for our Bulk Petroleum site located in Vanderhoof, BC. This position is for 24 hours per week, with a work week of Thursday to Saturday.

What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Petroleum Manager you will be responsible for:
• Demonstrating the Four Rivers Co-operative’s values of Responsibility, Integrity, Service, and Excellence in everything you do
• The care and maintenance of the cardlock, site and equipment which includes cleaning, organizing and minor repairs such as changing fuel nozzles
• Stocking warehouse items and picking orders
• Loading and unloading trucks with, and without forklift
• The care and maintenance of the worksite which includes seasonal site maintenance such as lawn care, snow removal and debris removal from the cement pads
• Organization and cleanliness of storage areas and washrooms
• Adherence to Environmental and Organization standards with the disposal of used oil and other petroleum products
• Ensuring work is completed in safe manner by being alert to hazards and reporting them to the Petroleum Manager immediately and following safe work procedures and acting safely in the workplace

Who you are:
• Grade 12 preferred
• Valid Class 5 or 7 Drivers license required
• Mechanically inclined would be considered an asset
• Forklift experience is considered an asset
• Self motivated
• Some heavy lifting required up to 50 lbs
• A team player with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
